Our Purpose
The data deluge that fund managers encounter each day can be overwhelming. Interpreting this data to build or refine an investment strategy can be a difficult task. The Neuravest approach uses new technologies and data sources with the aim to achieve a portfolio manager’s investment objectives. Our Evolution
Neuravest officially launched in February 2021, but its roots have been developed for many years. Neuravest is the successor to Lucena Research, a Georgia-Tech based spin-off founded by our CEO and serial technology entrepreneur Erez Katz in 2014. Lucena’s success was based on the principle that applying artificial intelligence and machine learning to big data could transform the financial markets.
In late 2020, Erez teamed up with Seth Merrin, a pioneering innovator in global financial markets who had founded multiple companies over the last thirty years, to create Neuravest Research. Seth not only committed capital but also his expertise and passion in building disruptive financial technology organizations and turning them into thriving global businesses.
Neuravest is doubling down on Lucena’s most promising technologies: harnessing machine learning and alternative data for institutional investment portfolio construction and management.
The Neuravest business model complements our data partner’s business by creating a new target market of customers who would like to utilize alternative data but are unable to do so due to technological and skill barriers. Through partnerships with the most predictive data providers and by unlocking the potential of data feeds, Neuravest empowers asset managers to become data-centric and participate in the machine learning and alternative data revolution.
